The final round of the Angling Trust Oxford winter league was fished by 6 teams of 8 on the Oxford canal from Yarnton Lane through to Oxford. The canal was clear but fished well for small fish with bream dominating the individual places. The league team result was already decided before the final round with Drennan Oxford and Sensas A4 going to the final in February. Tom Hobbs took the individual league title with 32 points from a possible 36 points.
st Mark Harrington - Sensas A4 - 28lb 3oz. For the 2nd match on the trot Mark drew a end peg with bream and skimmer bream in front of him. This time he was on bottom end peg below Yarnton lane and make no mistake taking a brilliant canal weight on worm over chop worm feed.
nd Dave Cowley - Sensas Reading - 17lb 12oz. Dave was on bottom end peg below Kings bridge and had skimmer bream and hybrids on pole fished caster.
rd Geoff Lewendon - Drennan Oxford - 17lb 9oz. Geoff was 2 pegs above the winner at Yarnton land and had skimmer bream on maggot over chop worm feed.
th Dave Kirk - Isis 17lb 9oz. Dave was on the peg above the winner and had skimmer bream on lobworm over chop worm feed.
